Hey kids! Today is Constitution Day, a day set aside to honor and celebrate the document that gives the American people life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. If you have never heard of Constitution Day, then shame on you - you may no longer call yourself an American. Just kidding. Congress just created Constitution Day in 2004.
Of all the things that Congress has (or hasn't) done in the past few years, creating a day to celebrate this legal document is something I can stand behind. Lest you end up on a Jaywalking segment sometime in the future, I would advise you to check out the list of factoids about the Constitution written in this St. Cloud Times news article.
